Author A-Ray 1.0 FSX is a modern full-suspension carbon bike designed for fast XC riding as well as more technical trail sections. It combines low weight, efficient power transfer, and trail confidence, making it an ideal choice for uncompromising performance riding.

At its core is a AUTHOR Toray T700 monocoque carbon frame with 120 mm rear travel, paired with a ROCK SHOX SID Luxe Select+B2 shock (190 x 45 mm). This setup delivers sensitive suspension performance, high pedaling efficiency, and confidence even on demanding trails.
Precise handling and front-end comfort are ensured by the ROCK SHOX Recon Silver RL Remote 29 air fork with 120 mm travel and remote lockout.
Thanks to the Boost thru-axle and tapered steerer, it provides excellent stiffness and steering precision.
The SHIMANO SLX / XT drivetrain in a 1 x 12 configuration (10–51) offers a wide gear range and precise shifting, even under load.
This component mix ensures reliability and performance in every situation.
Braking power comes from TRP Slate EVO four-piston hydraulic brakes with large 7" rotors, delivering maximum control even during aggressive riding.
AUTHOR Helium 29 TRC wheels paired with VITTORIA Barzo 29 x 2.40" tubeless-ready tires provide an ideal balance of speed, traction, and stability.
The wider tires enhance confidence in corners and on rough terrain.
Comfort and control are further improved by the KIND SHOCK RAGEi Core dropper post (100/125/150 mm), allowing quick saddle height adjustments depending on the terrain.
